AMI INCUBATOR is organizing artistic residency which is going to last for 10 days, from the 10th until the 20th October 2018in Vilnius, Lithuania. This project is for around 20 young artists and creative young people from different artistic disciplines from Lithuania and other countries, in equal proportion. The project aim is to create many mutual artistic performances together (including music, sounds, dance, media, etc.) connecting small local communities of religious or native minorities, old people from retirement homes, children from children’s houses etc. Participants of this artistic residency will be using local stories, legends, traditional musics and dances to get valorization and exhibition of the Lithuanian culture beyond the artistic performance. Participants will explore each other artistic abilities and ideas, dividing to the groups, getting to know the community members, recording their stories and songs, developing artistic ideas on it, and will work on the process of creativity by means of workshops by the coaching team (Ričardas Matačius and Maximien Aldebert). Process : – The participants will arrive on the 10th. – From the 11th to the 20th, Every morning starts with 45 min of Warm-up, before brainstorming, workshops, or working sessions in AMI INCUBATOR. – The two first days would be used for, getting to know each other with team-building practices and meeting the local communities to exchange. – The rest of the schedule would be workings sessions and time for performing. – Performances on the Tuesday 16thand Friday 19th Target communities : – People from Rukainiai – Romuva ’s community – Random people from Vilnius Interview : The participant would be in charge to research some information about the local culture to feed their topic, meeting people and introducing, exchanging their artistic skills and background. They will use a model interview as base and will use their collected answer for brainstorming their interpretation. Project organizers are providing hostel, breakfast, lunch and technical base & studios of AMI INCUBATOR.
