NORDBALTIC INCUBATOR -  “NordBaltic Incubator" is a workshop for young film industry professionals, students from film schools and juniors from Nordic and Baltic countries. In 2013 workshop was be held for the first time. We intended to invite 40 participants and 7 tutors from Nordic and Baltic countries who shared different experiences while making short documentaries about Vilnius. With the assistance of professional tutors, 4 international shooting crews had been improving their skills and abilities to tell cinematic stories. Theoretical lectures taught by tutors from film schools and from the industry, as well as practical consultations were held during pre-production, production and postproduction of short documentaries. As a result, 4 short documentaries were made. The participants had a chance to work with Lithuanian directors and producers Audrius Stonys, Audrius Mickevičius, Ričardas Matačius, Stasys Baltakis, Estonian cinematographer and producer Arko Okkas, Latvian cinematographer Andrejs Verhoustinskis and Icelander director Steven Meyers.

SUMMER MEDIA STUDIO - Summer Media Studio (SMS) is an international workshop for film students and young professionals. It’s an intensive 12 days training, which consists of theoretical seminars taught by experienced professionals, practical filming in international crews, teams consultations during the creative process and short films final development – postproduction. Each year SMS project focuses on the most essential and important subjects of the young European cinema, searching for new relevant topics, which would explore theoretical and practical knowledge of young audiovisual arts students in the field of the professional cinematography. The topic and the main subject of SMS 2013 was “Dance for film”. With the assistance of professional trainers-lecturers, 10 international shooting crews were improving their abilities to tell cinematic stories with the help of dance, choreography and movements for camera. Each team had choreographer, director, and cinematographer, sound designer, producer and actors - dancers (10 working teams in total).  As the result, 10 short films were produced after the intensive work of 2 weeks. 
During SMS 2013 participants and professional lecturers from all over the European Union countries shared their ideas and experience, analyzing the specifics of dance and choreography in film, beginning with the script writing process and ending with a short film realization on the screen. SMS 2013 organizers invited professional lecturers from Europe and USA to participate in the project. Participants had a chance to work with cinematographer Arledge Armenaki (USA), choreographers Helena Jonsdottir (Iceland), Ramona Galkina (Latvia),  Olga Zitluchina (Latvia) and Aira Naginevičiūtė (Lithuania).
The workshop is organized in cooperation with Lithuanian Academy of music and theatre.
