Historical events relive in documentary films
From 5th to 15th of October Audiovisual Arts Industry Incubator gathered young filmmakers and historians in Recreation Documentary workshop.
The project consisted of two parts. In theoretical part participants listened lectures presented by directors Audrius Mickevičius, Ramunė Kudzmanaitė, producer Statys Baltakis and historian Mindaugas Nefas. During the practical part participants formed 3 filming crews who were recreating three different episodes of partisans times and anti-Soviet resistance.
This was the first Recreation Documentary workshop organized by AMII. But the big interest of filmmakers and great results of this workshop encourages organizing similar projects in the future.
