“Nordbaltic Incubator’16”: Czech documentary films and five short films
This fall Audiovisual Arts Industry Incubator traditionally brought together young filmmakers to learn about Czech documentary films and to shoot short documentary themselves.
The project was organized for the fourth time and lasted for ten days. At the beginning of the workshop director and FAMU International lecturer Tomáš Doruška introduced participants to Czech documentary films. During the practical part, more than 20 students formed five filming crews who made films about train station, Ukrainians in Vilnius, young and ambitious Vilnius inhabitants, the first child’s visit to observatory and grandfathers’ relation to the city of Vilnius. All films were created with help of director Inesa Kurklietytė, editor Ričardas Matačius, sound director Ramūnas Jasutis and cinematographer Adomas Jablonskis.
The results of the workshop were screened at cinema “Pasaka” on 31th of October.
Lithuanian Council of Culture and Vilnius municipality supported the project.
